BOOK POWER
Book Power speaks to the individual as the circumstances, conditions, and situations vary for each person: rich and poor, child and adult. Cotton may be the individual undergarments - unconscious beliefs, thoughts, feelings and emotions. Or cotton may hang from the door of his or her cupboard and drape over the back of a chair. But as long as the Red Book and its contents are held near the heart that individual will be sustained by hope and trust that is rooted in dreams, visions, wishes and prayers directed to The God that expresses Love through acts of divine intervention.

REDEMPTION
Redemption is the painting that says: cotton-beliefs, thought, ways, and means that are deterimental: harmful, damaging, disadvantageous, and unfavorable-CONSUMPTION choices made in the past, and the present, can be transformed through the power of the Red Book-life promoting information which can be turned into knowledge-potential power that makes good things happen via determination, hard-work, persistence, and good-intent.

Chosens' message is: Cotton that is draped over ones’ shoulders and wrapped around ones’ wrist-due to unavoidable circumstances, conditions, and situations - is enslaving. But as long as it is kept underfoot while holding onto the Red Book - information that promotes self-worth - through determination and persistence and leads to true freedom via transformational-growth and spiritual-enlightenment-ones’ life can be lives in a state of hopefluness-the courageous strength to stay the course in behalf of succeeding generations.

Listen speaks to the feminine side-that calm and serene state which allows one to make choices that are self-nurturing; feeding the spirit and soul. Although cotton-the symbol for beliefs, thoughts, ways, and means that are detrimental, harmful, and damaging can cover ones’ head and body-causing disadvantageous and unfavorable circumstances, conditions, and situations-it cannot prevent one from cradling the Red Book nor prevent its life promoting content-purposeful knowledge-from being developed into personal-power.

Road to Freedom (true freedom) is the painting that says: The road to true freedom is a process that is baed on clear-intent -- purposeful living regardless of circumstance, situations, and condition; each Red Book choice contributes to the individual’s living a life of true freedom. The Red Book’s content --any and all conversations, books, lectures, poetry, songs, movies -- promotes a calm disposition and clear-mindedness. Thus one is able to experience the Red Book’s freedom-promoting content, which ultimately leads to true freedom--transformational-growth and spiritual-enlightenment.

THEN AND NOW
The Then and Now painting is about life being the same whether it spans the past, present, or future. Each individual is faced with challenges that must be resolved through the power of . . . choice.
Individual circumstances, conditions, and situations change from time to time, yet each person, as did his fore-bearer, and will his posterity, must choose between the Red Book and the cotton. To paraphrase an earlier pen man, "The more life changes-the more life stays the same." Then and now: Red Book and Cotton.

Cotton Consumption illustrates the outcome of one making cotton (“Cotton to”) beliefs and thoughts, and ways and means that are detrimental: harmful, damaging, disadvantageous, and unfavorable-choies. Feelings of being enslaved by something/someone are the result of making/living by those cotton choices. But, cotton choices can be exchanged for Red Book experiences - peace of mind when there is chaos and turmoil, or calm and serenity - by choosing Red Book Choices.

Absorbed's message is: The struggles encountered during the course of The Journey of Life are less important than the Thoughts a journeyman allows his being to be absorbed-deep mental involvement-in. As he feeds his mind with the Red Book’s content his soul is nourished by life-promoting information and hope. Being absorbed in the Red Book causes the individual to express the true freedom transformational-growth and spiritual-enlightenment-that sprouts from its only true source…From within.

EMBODIMENT
Embodiment forcefully says: True freedom comes from making choices that are based on Red Book believing, thinking, feeling, and living. On the other hand, primarily seeking worldly goods can influence ones’ choices, which could lead to enslavement to stuff, rather than gaining true freedom. In time, the individual who makes choices-lives life-based on the Red Book’s content will live in true freedom; regardless of the amount of his or her material possessions.
